You will be Sailing in the Greek Ionian Islands, staying on board a Bavaria45, which is a 45foot monohull sailing boat, professionally skippered and hosted by two lovely ladies.
This is a gentle adventure holiday geared for teamwork and relaxation, mindfulness and recuperation, sociable, friendly and lots of fun!
We sail or motor to a different harbour every day and can include a stop at an anchorage on the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to participate in any of the sailing and boat handling skills, plenty of swimming from the boat or the shore, time to explore, walk, run, simply read, look around the beautiful Greek villages and relax in cafe's or tavernas ashore!
Your skipper will happily teach any of the sailing and boat handling that interests you.
We usually can also offer optional mindful morning stretches.
Breakfast and lunch are eaten on board, (prepared beautifully by your host) and we generally have evening meals in one of the wonderful Greek Tavernas. Team supper on board is an option if we anchor in a quiet bay overnight.

A Typical day on board
Welcome Aboard!
For your personal safety and our insurance no alcohol to be consumed until the end of your sailing day, once the boat is safely docked or at anchor for the evening.
This is a brief outline of what to expect at the beginning your Greece Sailing Trip.
● On arrival at the Levkas Marina Jane and I will escort you to your floating home for the next 7 days.
● You will be shown safe embarkation and after you’ve been shown to your bunk your bunk you’ll be given a basic boat familiarisation and a basic ‘safety in the cabin’ talk, (WC use, gas and fire extinguishers) whilst having some refreshments.
● We remain in the marina overnight so dinner will be eaten in one of the portside tavernas in Levkas old town.
● Before departing your skipper will give you an in-depth safety-on-board briefing. an outline of our daily routine and planned itinerary and more boat familiarisation if needed.
● Please note that every aspect of our itinerary is completely weather dependant, your safety and comfort are paramount and whilst we expect to sail daily, be prepared for non-sailing weather activities and entertainment. (walking, swimming, reading, sketching, cards etc) A typical day will include breakfast and lunch on board (everyone is expected to take a turn helping with general kitchen clearing up!), We’ll sail to different Islands, anchoring at coves, beaches and picturesque harbours, (volunteers needed to help crew the boat so let us know if you’re keen!) There will be plenty of opportunities for relaxation, as well as swimming, walks and exploration ashore and we hope you’ll join us for sociable evening dinners in the local tavernas
